Went to a Blue Angel event, thought the folks on this forum could appreciate it... I can't stop smiling

Morning events prohibited us from actually getting to the event on time (traffic was quite brutal), so we stopped for some frozen custard and situated ourselves just off the airfield... right on the maneuver flight-path. I made sure my daughter and friend were watching the diamond when the solo screamed past on the Sneak Pass... about 600 mph maybe 200-300 feet above us. They jumped right out of their skins!

Not the actual Sneak Pass, but about the same flight path.

Note: Photographer on roof is not me, but has earned my eternal envy. (Those ushers get all the best perks!)
