I've been spending a lot of time assembling launch vehicles

This example uses a core block stage with 2 solid fuel boosters as a primary stage with a "interim" upper stage for orbital insertion.

The payload is an Orion spacecraft with a deep space habitat.

Looks quite good! It's a shame the new SRBs are too small, though. Not much we can do unless we bundle them together and lower the thrust (which is a viable technique). Great job on this, I gave rep for it.

You should try rotating around. It would make it more accurate to the old SLS design. That's right, Squad modeled the RS-25 cluster after the old one rather than the new one, which has a square arrangement of the engines.
