Day 1 of failed adventures in Kerbal

Mission:

Simply build and fly Rocket into Orbit

Results:

Design of Rocket was ok but sparky forgot to organize when the parachute should launch and well that ended in a complete disaster as you can see below.

Lessons Learned:

1. For starers sparky really shouldn't play when half asleep or after midnight for that matter if she wants to have a successful mission.

2. Organize when parachute should release

3. when all else fails have fun with trying to create the biggest explosion possible!!!

Best Part of the Mission:

While the mission I set out to do was a fail I have to admit I had a lot of fun crashing to the ground in a spiral direction followed by a nice big explosion!!!!

I should also mention no Kerbals were harmed in the making and Jeb walked out like he enjoyed the crashing!!!!

Maybe I will have better luck tomorrow when I'm not so sleepy and have gotten plenty of sleep.

Mission:

Take Rocket Lessons from Raven so I can accomplish the mission to send a rocket into orbit

Results:

The Lesson went well after Raven had way to much fun laughing at me for my poorly designed rocket. I finally learned how to build a rocket correctly and I learned more about the staging and how to fly a rocket. In the end Jeb decided that he was done with the flying and decided to take a break and go for a swim in the ocean. Below you can see how my lesson went with building and launching the rocket. Although I still haven't yet manage to get my Rocket into orbit.

Lesson Learned:

1. How to Build and design a rocket the correct and proper way not the sparky way

2. Learned about staging and how it works

3. Learned about science points

4. Learned how to fly a rocket

5. Learned about SAS

6. Last but not least I think I've became a master at crashing my Rocket into the ground

Best Part about the mission:

Over all I really enjoyed working with Raven and having lessons over how to actually build a rocket and fly it correctly. I also enjoyed seeing Jeb facial expressions through out the whole mission and I happened to land him right into the water. I think Jeb had a nice swim in the ocean and enjoyed every minute of it. :D

Sparky Learns a Lesson

Sparky was trying to create a space craft to get into orbit around Kerbin as part of one of the contracts. Well after Sparky crashed countless times, Sparky turned to her boyfriend Raven and said, "this rocket sucks, fix it!" As Sparky hands over the laptop to Raven, it was also stated "make the rocket able to orbit Kerbin." Well, the mission didn't go as it was planned in Sparky's mind. Raven did as Sparky said. He got the rocket into orbit. But he didn't plan ahead enough to give the rocket enough fuel to come back down; Jebidiah had to get out and push. Ravens response while laughing was, "Well, you said to get the rocket into orbit. You never said it had to also be able to come back down." Sparky, being a computer science degree should have know better when talking to a computer engineer major that you have to give them instructions like you would a computer. Facepalm. Also, Sparky made Raven promise that he wouldn't eject Jeb or do anything harmful to Jeb during the mission. Well what does Raven do? He ejects Jeb out of the cockpit to go skydiving. When will Sparky ever learn to not trust Raven with Jeb's life. Basically, to continue the mission we had to revert the flight and start over again so no one would be harmed in the making. After all that we finally completed the mission and Jeb walked away happy. Below are some awesome pics of Jeb and our mission process.
