Perhaps someone can help me?

Is not possible to use more than one MODEL_MULTI_PARTICLE in an engine?

I ask because the main effect will not show.

I think you should try to add it as another effect to separate it from the vernier's. I'm no expert of course but perhaps it could work.

Sadly, I think ModuleEnginesFX only supports one set of effects at the time?

Looking into it. But its difficult to source loopable clips :)

The 2-3 interstage isn't a truss, the second stage has retrorockets, and the 3rd one ullages (IIRC) using it's verniers.

Remember, this isn't an exact replica! :wink:

The 2-3 interstage isn't a truss, the second stage has retrorockets, and the 3rd one ullages (IIRC) using it's verniers.

Proton doesn't have ullage motors; instead, second and third stages' engines are fired seconds before stage separation, and separation itself happens when 2nd (3rd) stage engine thrust is equal of that of 1st (2nd). But they do have retrorockets.

No, the 3rd stage does not use hot-staging. I don't know where you've got that idea (you can't have hot staging with a solid interstage). The second stage, yes, but the 3rd on first fires it's verniers (which are pressure-fed at that point), then the main engine.

Edit: Erm, what version of Tantares are you using, I notice the Soyuz has 3 panels instead it should have 4?

There was a bug in some Mac users where the panels would revert to 3 rather than 4.

As I remember that blue effect has offset problems. Try other FXes, maybe it will help.

A full stats breakdown can be found a few pages ago, courtesy of Niemand303.

A rough benchmark is around 25tons to 500km orbit.

The two stage version can get around 10tons to the same orbit.

The textures are pretty conservative, so low memory usage.

All are 512x512 (128x128 for emissives)

Wait, so the Tanta panels are supposed to have 4 segments instead if 3? This is the only arrangement I've seen:

This is kinda worrying.

I've exported multiple times from Unity, but this Mac bug persists.

I develop often on a Mac, but my main KSP install is on Windows.

Really have no idea how it persists... :sealed:

On another note, I absolutely adore how it looks like those two Tantares crafts are flying in formation around the station :D.

Edit: quick look at the Solar panel directory and it is just... weird.

Thanks. I must admit I was a bit tempted to go find that old "Burn Together" mod when I saw that (I had only just undocked the two and turned them both to face prograde), but just docked them up nose to nose and burned as a single ship instead.
