Kind of. Of course, ingame it is imposible (Or very-very difficult) to perform "double re-entry" as "Zond". I just slowed down my orbital velocity by first re-entry then, after 1 minute I performed de-orbital burn and landed.

Ah yes. B/c the orange/grey is actually already used by Orionkermin's stuff, and while that's not a huge issue, a bit more variety would be nice :-)

This is what I thought a skip re-entry was! After further reading, yeah i do not think a real one is possible without FAR (So the capsule can produce lift).

I use MechJeb and autopilot when docking equally perform at a higher orbit. Typically at 271 km. So instead I go straight to 300/300.

I took it to mean that they would like if the pipe was part of the 3d model and not just texture, which I don't agree with. Having a little bump in the mesh could make building with the part awkward is some cases.

OK! Perhaps I gave a bad angle before.

The pipe is currently 3D, it was a little harder to see in other shots.

The bump on the mesh is no problem, the "real" mesh is the collider, which is just a plain cylinder (You cannot touch the pipe physically).

Great mission! I really like the Soyuz rocket actually. Especially the colour scheme is quite suitable!

But, I was sad not to see any traditional Russian trees at the end of the album!

Fuel amounts?

I recall the equations to calculate volume of cylinder... But to calculate volume of the side tanks? (They have a gradient also, not a straight triangle)

Edit: Substitute some scaled down Proton engines to get the idea of what it may look like.

So, my opinion on the side tanks- Make it take a normal soyuz no special stuff about 10km before seperating, not sure that fuel amount. 10km straight up, btw.
