Beale
Grand Tour (of the Kerbin system). Here we go! No, now here we go. We are finally going! The Alnair-Mun 4, first crewed spacecraft of the project. Looks a little kooky. Very kooky, but look! We're on our way. What do you see? "Kind of like the bottom of a frying pan". Vezin Kerman takes the opportunity to stretch his legs, taking in three cosmic bodies at once. But, it's not over yet! The Mun exit leads to a swift trans-Minmian injection burn. And, we have Minmus capture. What do you see? "Have you ever let your kid eat too many candies?" Vezin hogs all the EVA activites, and performs gravitational and temperature readings around Minmus. After a few orbits, a super-steep return on Minmus exit. *Ping* A good old splashdown, we're all alive! Not a bad haul.

The VA looks so small alongside the huge solar panels. 5 minutes ago, TK-313 said: Just a Soyuz approcahing my Zarya station... Two space station posts in one day! I'm loving it. I like the Zarya section a lot, what are the engines? GitHub Some work on IVAs, clickable windows and better bottom-left-corner cameras. Beale
What do people prefer for basic IVAs for the parts? Black Void Style Pros: - Follows shape of part. - Internal first person view, just see black, rather than seeing outside the spacecraft. Cons: - Harsh? Floating Kerbals Style Pros: - ...? Cons: - First person IVA view looks weird, appears as if Kerbals are clipped inside the craft, rather than sitting in a space. Mechtech
black void seems the best interim solution- you'd have to define the part shapes and kerbal positions either way, right? it'd be a step up from the 'majjikal black cube grid' look at least. I am feeling it, just needs a little more work. In other news... In truth, this part is part-fiction, but still useful, simple probe core? Augment your VA for antennas / autonomous flight? Nice, thanks! Minmus base begins... This is going to work this time. A smooth launch, A smooth trans-Minmus injection, And a smooth approach. The ALV upper stage is dumped, no turning back now! Locking down the approach. Touchdown! "Vezin, tip the lander!" Moella Kerman begins the process of turning the tower to a... belly thing? It's not easy, that's for sure. One of the legs was broken in the process, a tripod design was quickly improvised. The basics in place, the crew begin the long wait for more supplies and building materials. Beale
The follow up! Supply craft arrives a few days later. Bringing the much needed antenna... That we forgot previously. Not bad. Moella detatches the Camel upper stage, it flies off with a satisfying pop. Modifications complete! It's cramped, but a bold new step for Kerbals. Now we just need the return vehicle. onlinegamesz
This looks really amazing! I want to make a moon base with the parts. Do you have btw the craft files for the proton and N1?

I will also upload here anything people throw my way. Edited April 30, 2017 by Beale
overkill13
Really minor nitpick. I noticed a few of the interior lights are not working. Specifically the Soyuz capsule and it's 3 orbital and one habitation modules, the VA pod and the module with a square window (A-B12)(I think that's a window). Truss docking ports working as intended now. (Did I have an old version? I'm kinda braindead at times ) Also FWIW the black void is easier to look at as a placeholder IVA, though there is a weird oddity with the squared Soyuz orbital modules. The round ones could use an adjustment to the IVA cameras so it points at the kerbal in the crew images (their excited/screaming faces always amuse me) and the squared off modules have weird placeholder voids at the moment. See pics below. Edit: Reread a few posts ago and noticed that this is typical of basic module IVA so I assume you were planning on fixing it anyway.
