The Quote Game!

ICrashRockets

Recommended Posts

This is a game where you have to guess who said the quote that the user above you posted.

Example: User 1: "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."

User 2: - Neil Armstrong

(then put another quote for the next person to guess)

There are only two rules:

  • You must not post made up quotes, they must be from an actual living person/character.
  • They must be recognized as being spoken by one specific person. (eg. You can't quote, "Happy birthday!")

You must also follow the rules of the forums.

If you don't know who said it just say that you're not sure.

Have fun! I will start.

"Hold on to your butts."

John Arnold, Jurassic Park

All right, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade! Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons; what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down... with the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!

"Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake."

Eisenhower.

"Today... today. At the edge of our hope, at the end of our time, we have chosen not only in ourselves but in EACH OTHER. Today there's not a man or woman in here that shall stand alone! Not today. Today we face the monsters that are at our door, and bring the fight to them! TODAY, WE ARE CANCELLING THE APOCALYPSE!!!!!"

C3PO, Star Wars episode 4

"It’s a sultry night in July. You’ve fallen asleep in the armchair. Abruptly, you startle awake, disoriented. The television set is on, but not the sound. You strain to understand what you’re seeing. Two ghostly white figures in coveralls and helmets are softly dancing under a pitch-black sky. They make strange little skipping motions, which propel them upward amid barely perceptible clouds of dust. But something is wrong. They take too long to come down. Encumbered as they are, they seem to be flyingâ€â€a little. You rub your eyes, but the strange tableau persists."

I am going to repost my quote, because no one guessed it...
