I'm new to KSP, and am currently doing the career mode. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hello NewportBox, and welcome to the forum.

Here's a suggestion: keep crashing until it works. That's really the only way to get anywhere in this game.

On a more serious note, try uncrewed probes that transmit data on one-way missions. A lot of players are unhappy with those because they only return a small fraction of the potential science gathered. But that doesn't take into account how cheap they are, and how much science, in absolute terms, they can acquire. I've played 2 campaigns now, only sending Kerbals on the first few flights before probe cores are available.

I don't think it would be bad if you get stuck to take a look at Scott Manley's tutorial. I'd wait until you're so stuck you're thinking about punching the screen. Then you can pick up a few pointers to push you along, but not spoil it all.

I've been following Scott Manley's tutorials all the way up through where he walks you through getting to Minmus for a landing, and am now stuck.

I've built my rocket / lander exactly as his was built, and on the first attempt managed to get a landing - but didn't have enough fuel to make it back... so it's stuck there lol. (I'll launch a rescue mission once I land on Minmus multiple times)

The problem is that now I can't get an encounter with Minmus to save my life. What steps do you guys take in order to get to a place that has a different angled orbit? I can get to the mun without problems, but this is harder. Do you match the inclination before attempting the transfer? If so, what icon on the maneuver node do you drag to get into the right inclination?
