Transparent windows?

Is it technically feasible to make windows transparent so that they display the current IVA? If it is, that would be awesome.

The sfr Command Pod plugin implemented this capability.

Unfortunately, the author does not frequent the forums often, and the only download links were on the (now-defunct) SpacePort - however, he licensed his code under CC BY-SA 3.0, and placed no other restrictions on derivatives or distribution. As such, I've been trying to rework it to fix some bugs and make it available once again.

Silly me, this is the suggestions subforum. Yes, I definitely would like to see this feature.

This would be a cool feature, but you should be able to turn it off.

Stock or not, it's awesome to see that this is indeed possible! I wish you luck with fixing up that mod; once it's ready I know I'll be downloading it.
