I gotta admit, I can't WAIT to see how the teams handle assembling that thing. Them tanks aren't empty. They're heavy as heck, and if you put too much pressure on one side while lifting it, the stack will shear in half. I had a HECK of a time just putting them there without damaging them.

... and you guys know me. I don't do mods to make life easier. So I had to roveratize 'em...

Low enough to the ground that when I fired the ol' explosive bolts and sheared off the tires, it'd comfortably rest on the ground.

Perhaps you could use claws and a whackjovian VTOL for assembly??

That might be enough to pull the stacks vertical, but you'd in no way have the fine tuning necessary to dock them back together. Maybe a VTOL to lift them and a ground rover of improbable proportion to grab them?

I was worried for a little bit the save I uploaded wouldn't pan out right.

losing the decoupler off the one piece to get to the docking port was a bit of a hurdle at first, but beyond that it looks great, Whackjob.

Hehe. That decoupler is one of the twists I threw in there.

Ok, this is getting a bit frustrating... the leg parts have no control part... so any time you attach something to it, it refuses to release the part because it has no control. Getting some wild and varied glitches due to this.

Challenge, indeed!

EDIT: Question, was this tested out? Did the Whack actually manage to assemble these?

No and yes. I actually built the whole thing, gave her a shakedown run, then disassembled it and moved it into position. I did not rebuild it afterwards.

Time constraints. Rowsdowser and I were planning to do an event, and while I was still hypothesizing challenges, I got a PM to have it ready in a couple days. I pulled two all-nighters prototyping before arriving at that.

I don't doubt it can be reconstructed. I do expect it to be rather difficult. :D

#EDIT: Remember, you can add parts if you want!
