Kerbin Cup Unofficial Team Entries - On hold

Maybe this requires clarification, but when I read this:

I read that as the Forum would get to designate four teams (and the same for Reddit) but that's it for the whole competition, not four teams per challenge. It says one team is eliminated each week, but doesn't say the eliminated team's position can be filled in by additional teams. So what is all the talk of active and inactive teams, and selecting new teams for each weekly challenge?

It'll last the course of a few weeks with a team on both sides being knocked out each week. The teams that are in place right now are the ones that will either go the distance or be knocked out through various points of the competition.

So it looks like all the inactive teams won't have the chance to be selected officially but I think I will run an unofficial Kerbin Cup.

In response to both of you guys, yes the name needs some work, and yes I would love to work with you guys. I guess we could use this page as the team listings as it is already linked and used and stuff, and you can run everything else. Give the ideas and what to post and I'll do it. But for now lets keep on topic of the current Kerbin Cup. PM me your best names though.

Team Flareon - Get Fired Up for Soccer (Or football... Why the ass do you guys care about this?... Jesus.)

Goal: We will transport a soccer ball to Laythe using a rocket, Then playing Soccer.

Plan: Everyone that joins Team Flareon will have a Kerbal coded in during the mission. The rocket will carry 1 Hitchiker storage container to Laythe to carry your coded kerbals, The rocket will have 5 stages:

Stage 1 : Main rocket engine and Strap on boosters ignite.

Stage 2 : Booster fall.

Stage 3 : Main engine falls and deep space engines ignite.

Stage 4 : Jool Transfer Engines ignite.

Stage 5 : Jool Transfer Engines fall and parachutes deploy.

When It lands the coded in kerbals will play soccer and kick TITWBI Ass- I mean have a fair game and handshake. *Secretly takes steroids*

I've been planning a bracket cup/cups. I'm thinking of renaming the cup each time a winner is declared from "Kerbol Cup" to "Moho Cup" to "Gilly Cup" and so forth with the possibility of being related to each planet named. Here are the rule's I've come up with so far:

1. Teams of four

2. Flags/icon is highly suggested

3. All teams listed will be competing. Team with least votes will be voted out of winners, though playing is still completely fine.

They just won't earn the trophy (which someone will need to design in paint/KSP).

4. Challenge announced Monday, submissions due by Friday. Cut team will be announced as new challenge is announced.

5. Mods allowed for each challenge will be announced as challenge is (I.E. Stock/No hyperedit/no Mechjeb or Kerbal Engineer/no non-part plugins/...ect.

I'll start a poll about another bracket/cup momentarily .

Indeed it would... Please, all teams keep posting if you like. When the main games are through, I shall start a hopefully official 'continual' Kerbin cup version. Keep your eyes peeled in the meantime.
