Awesome! Now the only thing I need is a new printer cartridge :D Should get around to it in a few days.

EDIT: Actually realised that I have a spare one XD AND THIS THING IS HUUUUUGEEEEE!

Apparently the new wings are a lot larger than the old ones. I always assumed that the old delta wing was the same size as the new one but apparently the new one is like huge or smth:

(I actually went to check the sizes in game and apprently squad did enlarge the wings O.o)

I'm pretty sure I got the general scale right:

Oh my god , looks like there's a real lot things to do

BTW , looking at yesterday's KSPtv 1.0 stream i have a real lot of things to unfold :D

Yeah I'm looking foreward to the new nose cones and wings :D

Got the main body done:

The Mk3 cockpit is simply amazing, great work on unfolding it! I did a little mod on the front windows, so they have a bit of en indent, makes them look just so much better.

The tank top/bottom textures are a bit low-res though, I wonder how that happened.

And the bay does kinda close but it doesn't exactly fit, because i'm a faliure of a human being :(

I guess I'm just gonna have to display it opened :P

Despite the low resolution at the back , i'm very happy how the parts turned out to look really good :) Great work !

It's looking great, MoffKalast!

I'm curious: what paper/cardboard are you using? I've been using 120 g/m^2 bond paper (80 lb Text I think it's called).

Me too :)

Thanks, I'm using 200g/m^2 paper, which is great for larger builds like this although the stuff doesn't always want to bend the way I want. I'ts pretty strong so in theory I could throw most of my models (at least the ones with no tiny parts) across the room and they'd be fine :P

For the glue i'm using UHU universal twist & glue, same as Arc I think.

Yes, from your Mk3 pictures I was under the impression that was a much heavier paper. Very nice. A normal printer is still good with that? Do you cut it with an x-acto knife? Any tricks for bending/rolling such heavy paper? Remember I'm still learning here, so tricks are very welcome.

Also, I've been using toothpicks and an UHU-like transparent glue, but that applicator looks handy.

Yep, even my old printer (HP deskjet 840C) can handle it with ease. I cut it with scissors mostly and the fine parts with an x-acto. Well the process I use for rolling it is gently wrapping it around a smaller and smaller cylinder (like a pen or some other cylindrical thing that happens to be in my vincinity at the time :P) untill I get it bent enough. For normal bending I use a ruler.

Btw arc, did you ever try to build the LV-909? I think it's not quite right or something may be missing from the pattern. Like the entire nozzle.

Isn't this the nozzle? The LV-909 has a short nozzle.

Yes , it is :) You'd need some support to hold it in place though

Well I thought it was, but since it fit inside the hole that was supposed to hold its base and didn't have an inside I became kinda sceptical :/

I've been adding additional support to some parts using small paper strips cut from the leftovers. Works really well. Don't know if this is what people do.

Yep, I do that too XD

If I download the images from the online images. Are those images the correct size?

Is there any way to resize those images?

Also this will be my first time doing something like this is there any guides and such that can help me do this?

If the image's size is 1381x2048 it's ok . I think there are a lot of guides on the net :)

It does :)

Omg , it's awesome :D I'll add it to the front page asap :)

Thanks :D and thanks again for unfolding all of the parts, i'd be impossible to make any of this without your help. :D

Btw just wondering, would it be possible to see some more pictures of this station you made a while back? I'm sure there's some more of it hiding out if frame :P

Well , it wasn't that great so i cut it out from the picture :D

Fantastic job, MoffKalast! The final result is really impressive.

So what did you do for the LV-909s? Added a base of some sort?

Thanks, i'm quite satisfied with it too :D For the LV-909 I had to improvise a bit, so I cut out some of the FL-T400 top covers and made an inside platform to which i could attach the nozzle (and a support so it held up). I also used the same parts for the nozzle inner parts (you can notice some bolts on the edges if you look closely), as I already had them printed but didnt end up using them anyway.

Well, it wasn't that great so i cut it out from the picture :D

Aww :( That part that is in the picture looks really cool.

All finished!

Decided that I'll spare the landing gear since i'm going to hang it open like its in space so they wouldn't be open anyway. And they're a drag to make XD

Does... does it fly?

Speaking of which, I'm STILL waiting for someone to make a model rocket out of this stuff. Maybe I shall take the challenge...
