Forum Suggestion: Often-used symbol bbcode or emoticon

With the impending 0.24 update, we will have more use for the √ symbol. Instead of having to search the internet for it (as I did just now), maybe it'd be nice to have a smiley for it? Like :root: or :$: or something? Likewise, the "dV" we all use is also actually wrong. Wouldn't it be nice if there was an easy way to type "ÃŽâ€" (Thanks Astropapi1 for the suggestion).

There are likely other symbols that we use a lot that would be nice to be more easily typeable. Here is the list we have so far:

√ : The new fund symbol. I suggest [$] as the code.

Ά: Delta. As in ÃŽâ€v. I suggest [d] as the code.

Any other suggestions?

Great idea! Now that we're at it, getting a bbcode for "ÃŽâ€" wouldn't hurt either.

After all, ÃŽâ€v looks better than dv/Dv/d-v... doesn't it?
