Main post updated. Github page created. Thank blu3wolf for the time he spent setting up CKAN ability. There is no new content just yet, this is a Github-CKAN test compatibility release, because kerbalstuff doesn't think flag packs are good enough for their site. But github doesn't care. I wonder if they need investors....

That was a user submission from a few pages back. Maybe you could discuss it with the author a bit more. As far as the name and the lore goes, I'm satisfied with the flag though.

That is an option. 1.7 is up for dropbox, but likely only an interim release. I need someone to reindex my CKAN stuffs. I finally figured out how github works... I think. 1.7.1 is up there. If CKAN can see it then I can consider changing the fish to kerbal green for 1.8. Then, if CKAN is indexed properly or whatever, my commits to github should be reflected properly and automatically upon updating releases there. Then I could possibly get rid of my dropbox. Which is just an extra cost at this point.

v1.7 Release added 2 flags and 2 roundels. Goryeo and Kompletish.

v1.7.1 Interim release removed UAL flag. Please be sure you're aware in case you are using it.

I've got 6 existing flags cleaned up with better edges. Some flags have a white border I removed. That will be in the next update along with any new flags I can muster for 1.8

In order to qualify they would have to be parody in nature, and not 1 for 1 copies. If there is enough demand, I could consider it, although that might a time consuming endeavor. I wouldn't mind the challenge in taking on the enterprise, considering what kind of discoveries I could make. Something, something Atlantis, something something Columbia.

So guys, I was thinking for my next big step I was going to undertake a fun little project that would tie into the flag mod. Recently I've been wanting to spoof certain flags from the middle east with Arabic written on them. Obviously, Kerbals use english characters for writing but I was thinking of creating and using an "ancient" kerbal font on some of the flags. I want to create something like the star wars Imperial Aurebesh font but look something like a cross between Arabic and Georgian. Then have it available for download here, and feature it on a couple flags. Please discuss.

The nation of Goreyo used to be a nation of Kerbals who enjoyed practicing the ancient art of TaeKwonDo (Didn't even need to add a K). The country split in the Goreyan War, forming South Goreyo and the Democratic People's Republic of Kerbin, also known as North Goreyo. Their school system is extremely rigorous, and the children spend most of their days at school. The main sport of Goreyo is playing Human Space Progam, a space simulator made by PLATOON, in large competitive tournaments, to see who can get to the "Moon" or "Mars" with the least amount of money. This fostered a nationwide interest in space, and Goreyo is beginning to develop their space program.

Props to Yukon009 for coming up with the Human Space Program idea.

EDIT: New Release. I think I settled on a new font. I did not create it as I found an amazing one. v1.9 Added roundels for Skaibern, Loekeyah and Arabnia. Added flag for Arabnia. New "Ancient Kerbal" font used. The font is called Marain and can be found HERE

What if, in addition to having flags resembling earth's current nations, we also have flags representing the 8 (soon 12) factions in Civilisation: Beyond Earth? I think it would be cool to try that.
