Has anyone made it to space using only sepatrons?

I've managed about 2.5km with this thing:

If I use any more though, it explodes. Anyone do any better?

EDIT:I of course mean sub-orbit. I know theres no way in hell you could make orbit that way.

Scott Manley's Fourth-of-July video begs to differ.

Edit: That said, he uses a probe brain, rather than a manned capsule.

While I never tried going to space entirely on sepratrons, I did however during my early days of KSP try to complete an orbital burn with sepratrons. What I'd do is go high into space, decouple the launch stage, turn east, and fire as many sepratrons as I possibly could. Of course, it never worked. I still am amazed at how bad I was at this game.
