Contract: Plant a flag on Jool

Guess so.. although i have seen som youtube clips of people managing to plant flags. Its always a one way trip though. But how can you measure a kerbals life?

You could always just use the debug toolbar to get rid of the contract

It's techniqually possible, there are a few spots that you somehow can stand on.

But in practice, you have to get alot of variables exactly right and be very lucky to find those

With an LV-N, a one way mission is possible with this ship

You will just have to determine if it is worth it to send a Kerbal on a suicide mission. After all, you can always decline to accept such a contract.

I suggest you use unmanned probes to scout the 'surface' of Jool for locations that allow landing, and once you find one, note its altitude. Then, quicksave (recommended) and send your bravest Kerbonaut down in a ship capable of landing there (perhaps furnish for a layer of sacrifical landing parts?) and plant the flag.

Then hire Danny2462 to get your Kerbonaut back into space xD

Why not just press the red X button, which reads decline? You don't get any penalty declining offered contracts.

Nope, he fell through the surface and was crushed about 259 meters below the surface.

Hrm.. would it be possible to set hover rockets at 0-5 meters.. then step out , plant flag and step back in?

the kerbal will fall into jool. he cant plant anything on there where is no collision model.
