Highlad
I'm pretty sure we should all just be able to measure in boosterz. And I think we can agree that we always need more...
NathanKell
As long as amount has units specified, that's how it should be.If not, I'll give you 1500nm/sec of delta V.
GoSlash27
As long as amount has units specified, that's how it should be.If not, I'll give you 1500nm/sec of delta V. If there is only one unit of measurement in use, it's implicit. As of last update, meters per second was the only unit for velocity in KSP. Except in my installation, which is furlongs per fortnight./steampunk-Slashy
zarakon
People aren't using dv as a unit, they just don't feel like putting m/s in there every time because it's always m/s and everyone knows that it's always m/s unless otherwise specified
Jouni
It's delta-v, not delta-V. Delta-V is what happens to KSP fuel tanks when they are emptied or refilled, at least as far as stock aerodynamics are concerned.
stringyquark
I swear that this forum has the nicest trolls in all the verse. Laughed so much reading this thread.
Yakuzi
NO! It's like getting an extra 150 m/s of dV out of a design. Hold on... dV is not change in voltage? I guess that explains why adding b#ttloads of Z-200 battery banks didn't increase my deltavee in Engineer Redux. Since we're on the topic, may I suggest that we don't call batteries Z-200's anymore but 200*e Z-200's?
Mister Kerman
Someone lock this thing up. All the vultures have had enough to eat. There's not much meat on this topic's bones.
cantab
If Jeremy Clarkson can say a car produces 300 torques and emits just 50 carbon dioxides then I can say my rocket has 900 delta-V.

No wait, perhaps it is at zero dvs. GAH I don't know anymore. Anyway, this thread has devolved into trolling and off-topic posts. Closing.
