Will 0.23 mods work with 0.24?

Simply put, the title. I had a power supply blow out and take my hard drive with it. Now that I'm back, I'm trying to track down all the old mods I love, but I don't know if they'll still WORK. Anyone know?

Like your other post this one says your crashing. If your crashing it's possible you have to many part mods. If your using 32 bit version of ksp that only allows 3.5 gigs of ram to be used. If the textures of all mods go over that then you crash.

2 choices use 64 bit version of ksp. Or use a texture reduction mod to reduce the textures in 32 bit.

Be warned not all mods run well in 64bit. Good luck finding out which one if you have a lot.

I have had multiple work pretty okay with .24.2 if they were .23.5, and some of the ones that are .24.1 or .24 work fine. It just depends really, you have to experiment, Simple Part Organizer worked fine.

I know it sucks to hear this but tracking down those release threads of mods you want, reading them, asking questions and then testing everything is the only surefire way to know.

So far, Kethane appears to be broken in .24.2. The scanner and drills appear to work, but the converters don't do anything. It looks like the developer hasn't had time to update Kethane since the new release, but someone temporarily patched it for him. I haven't tried the updated files yet, but they're at the top of this page: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/23979-Kethane-Pack-0-8-8-Rebalanced-converters-faster-scanning-and-0-24-compatibility/page488

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
