While waiting for AvronMullican to choose the battle location, I decided to increase the maximum tonnage to 200, after realizing that the combined mass of my ships was exactly 175 tons; such perfect exploitation of allowable tonnage seemed somewhat unfair. Also, I shall present my ships:

1: The C3V [read "cee-three-vee"] Kirchoff, a Diffraction Class Battlecruiser:

94.26 tons.

2: The C3V Euclid, a Vertex Class Corvette:

34.11 tons.

3: The C3V Rutherford, a Hadron Class Bomber:

22.4 tons.

and finally 4/5: Two Lepton Class Fighters, the C3V Fermi and the C3V Bohr:

12.3 tons each.

Total Tonnage: 175.37 tons.

Well, I've learned two things Andrew... your ship is very Strong, and I was right about hating helipads.

You see, it's really good at soaking up fire from almost everywhere, except two places: the forward missile "X" and the helipad... i can hit the helipad and knock out the engines quite easily :D

That being said, my missiles are un-warheaded, and rely on kinetic energy more than peircing (i tested an armored head on one and it kept phasing through the ship, doing no damage).

That also being said, the QEII was not designed to be a combat ship, she was a replica ship. Yours was built to battle, and built well :D but i think the QE needs a word put in for her; she can take your heavy missiles and keep on trucking.

Anyway, i'm sending you the DL for the new WARSPITE now.

Meet the WAL- She is 193 tonnes with full fuel tanks, and can carry two Heavy Dreks under her if she needed to. Fear me.

In any case, how many engines are on each nacelle? (Because that sure looks quite heavy... )

Yea, I'm rebuilding it for .25. Gonna have sparrow hangers on the sides and a runway running along the centre 4 panels all the way along for a good sized one. 400t:) The good thing about Heli-carriers is that you don't really need to worry about lifting off quickly, cause you can drop like a brick and still be a few km above the surface.

Looks a damn sight better than the .24/3(can't remember) one.

8 engines on each, totaling 32 lift engines, 2 horizontal thrust. She weighs 193 tonnes, but can carry up to 300 tonnes cargo (400 if most the fuel is removed)

At least it can mass fire the 8 SAM's and 6 Harpoons. :)

But, to make up for the delay of getting this ship into serial production, I'll be making...

heli-carriers are not useful in KSP since i can break them with 1 A2A missile

The other ships in the CBG (Carrier battle group) are meant to prevent attacks on the Helicopter Carriers. :P

PS: Those carriers are early prototypes. I have much more advanced carriers in various stages of development.

EDIT: Each of the Harpoons on the Moskva can disable a Queen Elizabeth class cruiser...

The new P-800 Oniks would also like a word... :)

Wait, what type of A2A missile did you use? And what's you're definition of disabling the vessel? We have varying definitions. :P

Also, don't throw away a concept in KSP just because it's not perfect the first time around. :)

Oh, I see. :)

I wonder what an Evolved Harpoon or the new Hsiung Feng III would do to it. XD

and thrust for maximum profit :D DOWN WITH THE WARSHIPS
