  1. 1. Which mod do you think will be added?

I don't have any problems with fragility or lack of lift, and I find the variety of structural and strake pieces immensely useful. And, like everything SP+, they look a lot better than stock. Aesthetics come down to individual taste of course, but:

As a matter of aesthetics, I generally like my planes to look semi-realistic. Yours are very nice, but not my taste. The fact that you have to have 2 to 3 sets of canards speaks volumes as to what I'm taking about with these wings.

No lie: I got in the shower and realized my own joke went completely over my head. You win the internet today, sir.

Ah, the ModStatistics option. Strangely absent from the poll, though I suggested it before it was made.

ModStatistics? Nah, it's going to be something that no one really cares about.

I think he was not including things Squad already said would never happen. No MecJeb, no RSS, etc.

please refrain from mentioning the fan run unofficial wiki when referring to official squad doctrine.

Squad please make an official planned features list. https://www.kerbalspaceprogram.com/about.php doesnt really say anything at all.

Just as many canards with the stock wings; it's a consequence of the rear-biased lift of aft delta designs. Higher lift deltas would increase that issue, not reduce it.

I like having plenty of all-moving surfaces up front for stratospheric/hypersonic pitch authority; they're there for control, not lift. I usually shuffle the wings back as far as I can and pull the CoM forwards as far as I can specifically to allow me to squeeze another set of AV-R8s etc on without upsetting the CoL/CoM relationship. If I had a tweakable to slightly reduce the lift of the deltas, I'd probably use it quite often. Big wings are primarily for heavy loads and low stall speeds (the U2 is an obvious counterexample, but those things are fragile skinny razors); Skylon has stubby little winglets (and canards) for a reason.

If I wanted to lose most of the canards, all that needs to be done is shift a bit of weight around and shuffle the deltas forwards a smidge.

I voted other. The first mod that was recommended to me and helped me tremendously was Kerbal Alarm Clock. I think as a new player through to a seasoned veteran it's really useful to stop you over shooting your mark when you get a little over zealous with the time warp. ;)

That's not to say some of the other mods you suggested are no also very useful but for example Engineer is great but only when you understand what it all means, KAC is nice and simple.

Just my 10 cents.

Well, you're not going to be perceived as correct by anyone who actually reads...

Everyone knows Squad has said in previous posts here and various other places that there will not be an autopilot. How is that incorrect? Where it's been listed doesn't change the fact. You are welcome to perceive it as incorrect as you feel fit, but since you do not encompass the total of "anyone who actually reads" I think your incorrect.

Lets keep it friendly in here. k_smiley.gif

We're not being unfriendly, just disagreeing. I have the greatest respect for regex and his work.

Maye B9? The Dev is already on board, and it's - mabye beside firespitter - the standard mod when it comes to airplanes. Would be the logical thing to do.

Ofc there are things speaking against it: The graphical style, generally more high tech looking parts and plugin-dependency. Graphics style isn't much of a deal since the KSP-Spaceport already follows the high-tech style, but the parts clash a bit with the stock stuff. Also would need to work without 3rd-party plugins, that could be a bit of an issue.

ARM would be pretty interesting. Don't think SQUAD would make such huge changes, though.

It is maintained by the community, and has no direct relation to what may or may not be included in the final product.

Furthermore, the listing for "autopilot" in that link needs citation. You would be better served by a better source.

I've seen the posts myself, that's my source. The wiki is just a concise list. While I agree Squad could change their position, I find it unlikely.

Lol, I thought the banana was a joke but now I'm beginning to wonder. All respect to Snjo, if it is added, I hope it's the science one. Mostly because the big one is fun and silly but doesn't fit in stock, while the science one is kind of kerbalish.

Haven't the devs stated before that they do not intend to implement resources and thus it can't be Kethane anyway?

Not exactly. They said they didn't like the way resources as handled by their resource implementation worked. Given that their system was similar to Kethane but more complex, I think the same criticisms they had would apply to Kethane. On the other hand, they did say that if they could figure out a way to do resources that they liked, they'd do it, and that they still occasionally try to think up a resource gathering mechanic that their issues wouldn't apply to.
