Best quote/scene from Star Trek - any series

The thread about the best Star Trek episodes spawned the idea for this thread, as while I thought about my favorite episodes many memorable scences/quotes came back to the surface.

Please do not (only) simply link a video of the quote - give mobile users a chance. - and try to give the episode.

For starters:

Captain Jean-Luc Picard: "With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably."

Those words were uttered by Judge Aaron Satie, as wisdom and warning. The first time any man's freedom is trodden on, we're all damaged.

Captain Jean-Luc Picard: Have we become so... fearful, have we become so cowardly... that we must extinguish a man? Because he carries the blood of a current enemy?

Both from The Drumhead - as it features Picard in a court room defending a Half-Romulan crewmember against an Admiral conducting her own version of a witch hunt, it is practically loaded with deep quotes, like this scene at the end.

Lieutenant Worf: [referring to Admiral Satie] I believed her. I, I helped her. I did not see what she was.

Captain Jean-Luc Picard: Mister Worf, villains who twirl their moustaches are easy to spot. Those who clothe themselves in good deeds are well camouflaged.

Lieutenant Worf: I think... after yesterday, people will not be so ready to trust her.

Captain Jean-Luc Picard: Maybe. But she, or someone like her, will always be with us, waiting for the right climate in which to flourish, spreading fear in the name of righteousness. Vigilance, Mister Worf - that is the price we have to continually pay.

The attempt of Kirk to fit in the 20th century by using "colorful metaphors" in The Voyage Home are high on my list.

I heard a quote in star trek the other day that applies to my life more than anything I've ever come across

"If you study evil, evil studies you"

If you spend ten years studying and exposing the crimes of intelligence agencies, life gets.....interesting.
