The new BDarmory update has explosive warheads the size of nose cones.

I take it there are not allowed for space combat?

No, I'm afraid not. I've yet to test them but I can pretty safely assume that they would unbalance space combat. They're more than welcome in atmo however.

Is there any idea how many HKA personnel were on site when the KSC was captured? Also, for the sake of data and personnel security, is HKA planning any operations to rescue said personnel? Because we have several aircraft just now entering production that would be of great help if you should need them. Also, may we offer some advice? I assume that you have plenty of files stored at KSC? It may be in your best interest to take the opportunity to retrieve or destroy them during the aforementioned operation if it is to be carried out, which if it is must be done as soon as possible. In other news, though, we going to be updating our catalog soon. Sadly, we don't have our promised capitol ships ready yet, but we are offering updated and improved versions of many of our products as well as some brand new ones as mentioned previously. Anyways, I have a question. Can we use the Mk3 mini expansion? I reeeeeeeeeeeally like the look of the airline cockpit it has in it and think it would look great as a cockpit for some of my larger aircraft.

Sorry, no RP today. Been narrating EP 22 all day and need sleep. Hopefully the new episode will answer some of those questions. Though a plane rescue sounds like it might come in handy. As for the MK3 mini expansion, very sorry but I'm set on not installing another mod unless it's something that is necessary or will significantly improve my experience/time taken to make the series.

PA-1 Avenger

The PA-1 Avenger is a carrier based attack & short range patrol craft, and has been throughly tested by our esteemed test crew. It features : A quad fifty caliber gun on tail defense, and a disposable mini-rocket tube that holds nineteen projectiles. It also features a spotlight, room for two crew members, and a telescoping antenna for relaying data back to the main fleet. The Avenger has room for two crew, the one in the forwards compartment is responsible for piloting the craft and firing the missile tube. The crewman in the rear cabin is responsible for keeping enemy fighters off the tail of the craft using Kraken's patented Quad-50 Chaingun System, as well as navigation.

I have 2 ships im submitting right now, both of them stock capital ships and each is used for different purposes.

Anyways, a bit about AKSTechnologies:

AKSTechnologies is the tech development division of AKS, a race of sentient machines that have recently entered the Kerbol system after suffering a major defeat and being all but annihilated from their home galaxy. The small group has arrived on Dres with 4 smaller warships, and have set up an underground complex deep within the core of the planet where their new ship factory has been created. While the most essential technology: energy->matter converters (allowing AKS to create ships on demand on the surface of Dres) were brought along when escaping their home galaxy, most other tech such as advanced energy weapons, hyperdrives, and zero point energy generators were lost after the transport ship's landing engine failed and it ended up crashing into the planet at such velocity that nothing useful could be recovered. Knowing the situation was dire, AKSTechnologies was created and started constructing warships to defend the planet of Dres, and stayed alone avoiding confrontation, but defending themselves with every ship they had available.

After settling down with their small but powerful fleet of warships, AKS slowly started sending recon probes and discovered that there were two major players, HKA and GMI, deciding to help HKA by providing ships in exchange for energy that was desperately needed to keep their ship factories in action. In exchange for energy they provided warships and other vessels to HKA to aid in their war effort while slowly expanding their fleet ship by ship.

AKS (if you actually implent this into your videos) will start out using 2 [AKS]SK-CRV-IIIg3 and 2 [AKS]SK-CRV-IIIg2 corvette class capital ships in orbit around Dres provided in the save file below (to go with the story they should be launched from Dres surface). Their primary base and center of operations is underground and safe from harm, but will start to expand with time to see new worlds.

AKSTechnologies will provide both export variants of their own vessels optimized for use by kerbals (machines dont need crew pods, kerbals do) as well as few dedicated vessels for use by kerbals that have been created with them in mind. For starters you will get the [export]SK-CRV-IIIg3, and the BC-304 "Korolev" ships. The ones labeled as [export] are available only to AKS allies, and can be supplied in small numbers, any ships labeled as [AKS] compose their own fleet and may not be used by HKA or anyone else but may fight in joint strikes if AKS decides to actively engage in combat against HKA enemies. All other (unlabeled) ships are available on the black market after spies stole the plans and may be used by any faction provided they pay enough money to said pirates/traders that have them around.

The SK-CRV-III 3rd generation is the mainstream combat vessel of AKS. A corvette class ship, it is fairly lightweight, maneuverable, and has enough armor to nullify most 0.6m weapons such as Ibeam missiles. While its armor is far worse then the previous generation, it can take a few hits from medium 1.25m missiles, and is at least somewhat resilient to ramming attacks. Its weapons are optimized against smaller vessels, although the Tripedo-S (6 carried) is strong enough to hurt the largest capital ships with good aim and some luck. This ship comes with a fully functional launcher that has enough dV to get the vessel to Jool, Dres, Duna, and Eve, with the fairing allowing some aerobraking as well provided it is not jettisoned before encountering the planet. Finally, it is the simplest ship in its class AKSTechnologies has ever managed to create, with under 280 parts, you just cannot get a better armor scheme for the part count. Its no drek, but its not that much weaker, especially when you consider how much lighter and simpler it is.

The export variant (provided to allies of AKS) features two command pods on top, allowing the vessel to be controlled by kerbals. It still retains its droid control capability but all links between AKS command have been servered giving the owner full ability to repogram it to suit their needs. The export version is provided to allies of AKS in exchange for energy supplies brought down to the surface of Dres, with one ship exchanged for 100t of fuel/kethane/ore/whatnot which should be dropped on surface (and ends up used to power AKS's production tech+ some for their own uses.

And another ship, this one designed by AKS based of a ship they encountered in another galaxy but the plans were stolen by pirates and it ended up available to anyone who had the money:

The BC-304 is a battleship class warship that is armed with 8 1.3m missiles, and has room for 4 smaller fighters in the side docking bays. The craft has very weak armor, but it is composed of a armored skeleton so it is not exactly what i would call a easy kill, especially considering its sheer size. That said, the ship was intended as a cinematic thing, for video creation. The entire ship has a detailed custom made IVA. There is a command bridge, observation deck, communication center, weapons command room, living quarters, engine room, and 2 fighter hangars all accessible by moving around a series of hallways/tunnels/stairs that are not too hard to move around on. Its main feature is the IVA internals, and that is what the ship was built around. Ohh, and for those that dont know, its modeled after the BC-304 from Stargate series, although with a few changes to make it actually doable with a hard 400 part limitation. For a true replica the entire rear would have to be much longer, and it would have to be a tad wider, and the upper hull would have to be a bit different, but i feel it came out good enough to release, just call it inspired by sci-fi, not a pure replica or something.

This thing is basically for cinematics, it has crappy armor if any, but its given a full out IVA that might be useful to make animated scenes with kerbals or whatnot. It does actually function as a capital ship with room for 8 guided missiles, 4 smaller fighters, and a full crew complement of over 20 kerbals, that can move around all over the ship as they want, go visit the living quarters, engine room, command bridge, communication room, weapons command center, hangars, ect.

I was browsing the forums and saw that you had military craft submissions. I have made a ton of military stuff but it is all stock.

You can use any of it if you would like to. If you ever need a company name to mention: Jon Aerospace or Jon Munitions.

Can be used by either side. Made by a company specializing in general use ground baseed weaponry. Could say more when not feeling so lazy

A bit of role play information on KSE:

KSE(Kerbolar System Exploration), was started by a Kerbal scientist named Edlu, who wanted kerbaled exploration beyond the mun. Their first act, a Duna base, had to be quickly recalled because of the GMI take over Duna. Because they had a lacking in air-conditioning technology, they had to move outwards, to which they found Dres as the perfect hiding.

For space vessels, do lifters for the craft need to be included within the submission, or just the raw craft?

It depends, I'd rather you included lifters in all craft if want to, but GMI craft are of course already in space. And a lot of HKA craft these days are getting introduced already in space because the game often crashes when trying to launch them normally. As I said, it depends.

HatBat, when are you uploading the next KS episode? As well as the next Remastered?

KS #22 is actually very nearly ready, it will probably be finished this weekend. However it is a bit awkward, in that I want to include a segment at the end of the video that unfortunately I have to wait a couple of weeks before I can make. I really do think it would be worth it. Though, if you'd like me to release KS #22 without it then I'd be fine with that. It's been long enough already. KS remastered will be coming out just as soon as I've finished KS #22, as the last episode seemed to get a pretty good response. Although I do need to finish it off, luckily I've already made a start.

Well that's the thing, it's not actually going to be entertaining. Just something I think should be in there. I don't know though... I'm kind've starting to think adding two weeks on to the release isn't going to be worth slipping this segment in. I'll probably make it in a separate video.
