I need help. My SSTOs are all veering left off the runway, then promptly exploding. I have painstakingly straightened the wheels. I have checked my wing plan, everything should work. My planes are all acting like air-whales. Except my Sparrowsight. The Sparrowsight veers left off the runway, and explodes from not having enough lift. Please send help.

Move the rear wheels forward, usually fixes it.

Ok guys.

Im possibly thinking of remaking my company. Giving it an actual page an what not.

It won't be anything big just a small page where I can post my stuff and it will be easier for people to find my downloads.

NO ZEKE or anyone else for that matter I will not be doing partner ships.

This is simply to let people see what I got and download. Nothing big. Just a place to put my crap (wait can I say "crap" on the forums?)

Let me know if I should

Edit: for science!!

I understand, believe me i feel the same way sometimes. As long as you don't go away, like so many others we've lost for good on the forums.

Like I said it's really going to be more of a storage where people can see my stuff. I never will have time make a full fleged company though.

It's going to be stock except for some with BD armory

Sooooooooo, anything new???

(desperately trying to stop the thread from dying)

He's currently working on continuing the MaceyDean series; but I've made a video, it's not nearly as good as HatBats' but you guys might like it. I was inspired by you Hat, I hope you don't mind i took a few of your techniques ( like kerbal speak)

It's all fixed, all of it... Project Arbalest is done. At the same time the FTC MCSSTO Atlas. Now then, let's look at FTC's new ships. First off we have the FTC MCSSTO Atlas (A).

oiPbQew.png

Now, I know a portion of you are going "But that breaks the rule that states that space fighters can only have 1 .50 Cal turret! That's a GAU-7 on that plane!" I have an answer, the Atlas is a the Free Trade Conglomerate's MULTI-PURPOSE SINGLE STAGE TO ORBIT. Meaning it is actually designed as atmospheric support. Now, I'm not saying that it won't fight in space, I'm just saying that it is a Space to Ground (S2G) weapon. So it falls under atmospheric support. Which encourages mods. Now that that's out of the way, let's look at the (B) variant.

FAMrxl9.png

Now, you might be saying, "But that's the same plane!" Nope, this one is different. It has the BurnTogether mod on it. Because the only thing cooler than one spaceplane punching through the cloud layer, is two. Finally let's take a look at the FTC TKD Prometheus, the long awaited conclusion to Project Arbalest. It's FTC's Titan-Killer Destroyer (TKD, I suppose you get my naming protocol now.)

qgbJKs7.png

The Prometheus is equipped with 3 standard Titan Killer Torps, and has a FTL Drive, which was acquired from GMi through business transactions and intermediaries. Now finally, you've heard me throw around some very fancy corporate words, Free Trade Conglomerate, and FTC. Just what are they you ask? Why my company submission of course! (4 REAL THIS TIME!)

C6qEowW.png

Free Trade Conglomerate

The FTC is a coalition of two corporations, the RISE Corp, and the ODD Corp. These manufacturers build and fight for the same goal. The elimination of monopolization of space. They seek to establish a series of orbital habs that would offer protection and anonymity to clients who are in need of a quick buck. The trade process is simple, You go to a hab, dock and tell the FTC representative what you're selling, then the FTC finds a buyer, purchases your item, sells it to the buyer for a profit. The FTC believes that through this Laissez-Faire philosophy interplanetary & inter-corp trade can flourish. However, the FTC do have a few simple rules that must be obeyed, firstly, no violence at habs. Any violence from you will result in immediate termination of the deal and destruction of your vessel. Violence against the FTC is not tolerated. Secondly, haggling is not tolerated. Finally, no FTL jumps within 2.5 km of a hab. One interesting note about the FTC is how they came into possession of FTL technology. A kerb by the name of Jalikson contacted the FTC for money. He told the representative this, the representative, asked him what he had to offer. Jalikson sent the representative a transmission of complex mathematical information. The representative, seeing the value, purchased the information, and wired the money. Jalikson was later discovered to be a GMi scientist. He was never seen again. The FTC R&D quickly developed a FTL drive, and have begun mass production of the Prometheus Class, the first non-GMi FTL capable craft.

So I saw this thread today and I have decided to participate. I made a Logistics vehicle, maybe an interplanetary shuttle. Depends on if you have space stations with fuel perhaps but I am sure that won't be too much of a problem. It is called the Voidwalker. Hope you enjoy and if you decide to use this let me know! The shuttle comes with a pretty nice launch system, and has plenty enough fuel to launch pretty far into space just using the launch stage if you are tight on fuel.

I like it's design, it's the first time I have tried using many different kinds of engines, and I combined the aerospike and the turbojet and they both seem to function perfectly together! It was a cool find :P

Javascript is disabled. View full album
Again hope you like it, It's main purpose is crew transport so if you have to have station refills then this could certainly be a viable option. The plane itself is like 300 parts so don't freak out over the large amount of parts with the launch stage! :P You might even be able to put something slender on the back of the spacecraft and use it as a people + a little bit of fuel tug! (Not tested)

After I posted this I took it on a spin. Using HyperEdit (not cheating) I placed just the spacecraft on a 100KM orbit, only the spacecraft, not the launch stage (which would have given it more fuel) and decided to take it for a spin. I wanted to see if it could land on the moon, and surprise surprise, I went to the moon landed on it, and returned to kerbin on a single tank of gas. It was a rather slow experience, and I'm sure it probably would have turned out better if it wasn't laggy but you know what can you do. So, on it's own, a rough guesstimate on it's deltaV could be anywhere from 1000m/s (using aerospikes constantly) to probably around 1600-2000m/s (Using NERVAS) So, it probably could go to Jool if you entered an encounter straight from launch using the LS, so I think I did a pretty good job. Obviously, if it could land on the moon, it could land on Minmus. The Reentry was actually perfectly stable, I pitched the craft up to about 35 degrees above horizon and it stayed there through reentry. (With SAS)I ended up not having fuel in my VTOL jet engines because of the way the pumps are placed, but I still had fuel for NERVAS. Just remember that the parachutes' jobs are to alleviate fuel consumption by VTOL Jets, and the VTOL jets are meant to slow your descent to around 40-60m/s before parachutes open in Kerbins atmo. Any more than that and the parachutes will rip the spacecraft apart on opening. (P.S I used the VTOL Aerospikes to land on Mun. And a description of the aircraft is in the popup window below it in game.)

very nice, great action and good dialogue.

OH NO! I've almost forgot about the deadline! Whoops... Better start pumping out crafts.

There's no deadline.

I'm having some issues getting to the necessary 1700m/s in atmo to reach Lathe orbit.

The stats are the same as Overfloater's astro-cruiser so I don't know what's wrong.

Works fine with an aerospike though.

Can't wait for you to fix it' date=' it looks so cool :D

So... we can't use warp drives if we're making stuff for HKA?
I made a neutral faction. Which bought it. So unless HKA captures a GMi or FTC craft capable of warp, or they buy it from FTC, no? HatBat! We need you!

Only GMI has warp drives, and I mean... only GMI. Sorry :/

GanyCo introduces the A-120 Stinger, designed for ground support and light attack.

The Stinger will be sold exclusively to GMI

It features a stable yet maneuverable design that can either be a light gunship or light bomber.

Its four engines are more than capable of carrying its weight, which allows for a wide variety of payloads.
