I need some anime to watch

What it says on the tin. I've got little to watch after Attack on Titan, except Black Bullet and that won't last long, as it's only 13 episodes. Ideally, it will be lighthearted and funny, which is what I need after the continuous cliffhangers and drama of AoT. If it's on Crunchyroll, even better. If it helps, I prefer English subbed. These are the ones that I've watched/currently watching:

  • Squid Girl - Watched all episodes
  • Majestic Prince - Watched all episodes
  • Attack on Titan - On episode 19

Thanks for the help!

Get ready...

Note: some of these are 15 and maybe even 18+ so yeah, be prepped.

Planetes

Fullmetal Alchemist(the original)

Mirai Nikki(gore alert)

Elfen Lied(gore alert, again)

Cowboy Bebop(you'll love this one for sure, it's considered best a me ever, and it's about space)

Code Geass(amazing)

Death note(equally amazing)

Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne(MAJOR gore alert)

Baccano

Higurashi no kaku koro ni(best horror anime you can get)

Thats all I can think off for now, that's enough for at least a week's worth. If you don't trust me, you can look the ratings for all of ese up and you'll be pleasantly reassured. Watch at least 2-3 episode, if you don't get hooked, well, it's not for you, but I suggest watching them all anyway.

Here are a couple I find great:

- Sword art online

- Fairy Tail

- Naruto(though it will take a long time to watch. It's currently at 593 episodes)

- Soul eater

- Death Note

These are the first ones that pop into my mind. All of them are pretty damn amazing IMO.

If you haven't seen Gintama I can highly recomend it. Takes a few episodes to warm up, but this is possibly the funniest Anime ever and there's a lot of it.

Edit :

Fullmetal Alchemist

Elfen Lied

Cowboy Bebop

Death note

Last Exile

^^ Big thumbs up for these also ^^

Some of my favorite:

- Monster (If Alfred Hitchcock ever made an animation it would have been Monster. Awesome thriller.)

- Ghost Hunt (Pretty rare for an anime but this actually gave me goosebumps.)

- Elfenlied (As said before: major gore-fest.)

- Death Note

- Rurouni Kenshin

- Full Metal Alchemist

My bride is a mermaid. Funny, gags throughout.

GTO- great teacher onizuka. Tearfully funny. Former gang member wants to be a teacher.

Beelzebub. Baddest delinquent on the planet becomes surrogate for the devils kid.

Arakawa under the Bridge. Heir to dads company comes across beautiful woman who lives under a bridge. He decides he wants to try to live like that. Funny as all get out.

Detroit metal city. Group of absolute dorks are Japans hottest metal musicians.

Fairy Tail. Funny, action

Full Metal Panic! Teenage soldier sent to highschool to protect a girl. He fails at fitting in, but succeeds in kicking butt.

Literally just posted this one in another thread, but it's so good in my opinion that I had to mention it twice:

Another one I've been enjoying of late (particularly since I've been rewatching it over the past few weeks) is Space Brothers, about two brothers who both end up pursuing their lifelong dream of becoming astronauts:

(Incidentally, it's also the source for my current avatar.)

I'm on the second to last episode of Attack on Titan, and I'm deciding between Black Bullet (Enju seems funny), Space Brothers (because pugs!), Planetes (General awesomeness, from the sound of it), and one of the many ones from Tex_NL's (I spelt that correctly?) list. Any of these on Crunchyroll?

But but what about Cowboy Bebop?

I might watch that. I'll probably watch shorter series first.

All series are roughly 26 episodes. Some might have a second season, though this is not too common.

Besides, Cowboy even has a movie too. Planetes is also only 26 episodes.

Naruto is great, however Gundum is an old and very good anime. What is Gundam you ask? It's about giant humanoid mechs fighting with lightsabers in space. Whats not to love?

Who doesn't know what Gundam is, is a better question. I like Bleach over Naruto.

Tenchi Muyo war on Geminon is pretty good as well. Mechs, slightly ecchi.
