MOdded KSP Crash.

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Recently I have installed KSP and I put some of the top 100 mods ( loking for the ones compatible with 0.24.2).

I have KSP 0.24.2

The game is crashing when loading.

Please find attached the error logs.

Could please somebody help me?

Thanks

Thanks for attaching logs! (And welcome to the forums!)

You ran out of memory.* Use fewer part mods and/or use Active Texture Management in aggressive mode (and if you already are, increase the scale= parameter).

*Note that the version of KSP you are using is 32bit, and therefore limited to approximately 3.3GB of memory at a time. However, the only stable 64bit version of KSP is for linux.

Hi,

Thanks for your promt reply!

I see in the log that I have 1GB of memory what is incorrect... I have 6GB!

On the other hand I executed KSP_64.exe not 32 one so I should be able to manage my 6GB right?'

THanks

This bit of your log shows that you actually ran KSP.exe and it is also in a folder on your desktop which is known to cause issues...

7.C:\Users\Dany\Desktop\kerbal space program\ksp.exe, run by Dany.

I suggest moving your whole install to somewhere else, e.g. C:\Games and then try KSP.exe again. If the same thing happens then actually try KSP_64.exe, you might get lucky (though I suspect that the general stability issues of the 64 bit version will probably cause you issues anyway).

As I said in my post, Windows x64 KSP (which you did NOT run, as said above) is not stable.

Also, the 1GB mentioned in the log is for your video card.
