re-reading the stuff about the log re-vamp and then re-reading these quips:

Quotes on the unknown thing

- "You can play 1000 hours and never run into this if your good"

- "Harvestr was having fun doing this over and over again"

- "This is something no mod has ever done. Flat out. We are super happy about it."

- "It's cool. Good players might not run into it, they might want to for fun.

I'm almost certain Squad's talking about a time lapse-esque post-flight forward/rewind/pause/slo-mo flight log video recording. I may be wrong, but I don't recall any mods that have done this specifically so far, and it fits very well into all the quips and the flight log overhaul they mentioned.

edit: Which, ultimately, it's just another marketing vehicle I guess because if the camera can be re-positioned in these flight logs, it'll make for more interesting YouTubes, but experienced players (read: players who don't need to check failure logs) don't benefit much from the feature.

Just would like to add my voice to the "no magic buffs" vote.

While KSP can't be considered a hard science simulator, it's presently in-between "game" and "simulator". Adding "magic" definitely skews it more towards the "game" end of the spectrum for what, to gain a larger audience? But IMHO at the risk of losing the current players who enjoy KSP because it is a soft spaceflight simulator.

Apart from that, overall excited at the continuing evolution of KSP.
