Control binds jumbled after decoupling

so i have a multi part rover that breaks down into smaller craft. one of them is a drone plane, after decoupling the directional controls become switched WS and AD seem to swap for the control surfaces of the craft.

My guess is, probe core put in backwards.

Does QE swap?

no just AD becomes pitch and WS becomes yaw

Sounds like you need to right click the control part for your plane and select "control from here." Either that, or the controlling part is rotated 90 degrees.

Maybe post some pictures or a craft file if the problem is more complicated than that. I remember a similar problem to this, but it was a looong time ago.

ok move stage 2 down to the bottom to decouple from primary housing (im working on this atm), reverse out. press 1 to decouple into smaller crafts then go ahead and cylce to the recon plane, press 2 to drop the forward landing gear to use motorized wheels, maneuver the drone onto the run way, go ahead and test it out. i believe 4 is to toggle the engines.
