xtoro
Wait, no nevermind, not working.KSP 0.25 32bit and 64bit and Linux 64bit (Same issue on all versions).Latest versions of the following are installed :MechjebFTTKarbonite, and Karbonite+No other mods other than what's packaged with those listed.Made up a honeybadger mining machine with Karborundum scanner and drill. Land on Eeloo and the scanner tells me there is 0% karbonite and 0% karborundum. When deploring the drill, it says the extractor is offline. I have the HB reactor installed and plenty of power. Tried reloading and restarting, didn't work.Is the Karborundum portion of K+ not finished yet?EDIT: Same situation on Eve. And i am looking for karborundum, not karbonite. I'll keep looking, thanks!
lordmuffin
Would it be possible to add a device similar to the Kethane device that turns kerbals into Kethane?I would love to have that, to fuel my evil kerbal scientist desires Edited November 30, 2014 by lordmuffin
Super Space Czars
Two questions: Is it alright to delete all the resources not needed by this mod in the Community Resource Pack (The only ones in it that I need are the ones from Karbonite/+), and what is this Liquid Hydrogen need by the Torch Drives? workerbee
0.90.0 compatible?
Aedile
Is there any pattern in karborundum distribution? It seems like anywhere on eve/eloo you have very little. After a dozen a probes I ended up hacking the scanner and the best concentration I saw was 0.005%. (with chances of actually finding that legit way probably being crazy low).Seems like the best way is just to get it from the sun or get huge installation to eloo
chrisl
I've got my old .25 game that I still have running, mostly so I can test out ideas and finish some of the long term projects I had been tinkering with. Anyway, I recently added K+ (using 0.2.3 right now since I'm still on the older non-.90 compatible Karbonite mod) and wanted to play around with some setups. I'm working on building a permanent refueling station which I'm going to put in low Kerbol orbit. I noticed that the largest K+ tank is just the "Karborundum Tank (inline)" which only holds 300 units. I'm sure that's fine for a ship but for this permanent station I wanted more capacity. Rather then adding a plethora of these inline tanks (trying to keep part count low) I decided to try and create my own part which I've basically done. I've created a large 3.75M tank about the size of the S3-14400 LFO tank that can hold 10000 units. Seems to work fine (though I still haven't launched my base) except that the cost is bonkers. I had to list the cost as 20,000,000 just to have it come up with a non-negative actual cost. I notice this seems to be the case for most of the tanks:"Karborundum Tank (radial)" has listed cost of 1000400 but only costs 400 in game"Karborundum Tank (inline)" has listed cost of 600400 but only costs 400 in game"Karborundum Tank (mini)" has a listed cost of 24400 but only costs 400 in gameOnly the "Karborundum Sample" seems to have the same in game costs as the cost listed in the cfg file (100000).Anyway, I'm just trying to figure out if this is a something anyone else has encountered or if it's just a bug with my setup.EDIT: I did just notice that the sample unit actually has 5 units of Karborundum in it while all the other parts (including the one I made) have none so maybe that's what's going on.
