By this point you might be wondering how such a behemoth could ever safely land on a planet right?

Did i mention that it is a VTOL? Capable of flying without SAS and in or without an atmosphere.

Weight: 428 tonnes

Part count: 1051

Action groups:

1: Toggle Rapiers

2: Toggle Rapier engine mode

3: Toggle jet engines

4: Toggle interior lights

5: Toggle front lights

6: Toggle ladders.

Flight instructions:

When flying this craft in an atmosphere do not switch the Rapier engine mode without first switching off the jet engines, the craft flies fine with just the Rapier engines when they are in closed cycle mode, the jet engines are purely for when the Rapiers are in air breathing mode.

Feel free to fly without SAS, you will get the hang of it in no time.

Do note you can not land this at high speeds (over 20m.s) and never land with the brakes on.

As a side note never exceed 10m/s on rough ground, remember if you hit a bank in this thing you are running 400 tonnes into which ever wheel hits that bank first and you will snap it off.

Have fun and enjoy this craft.

Feel free to let me know what you think of my work.

Would love to see someone get this thing into orbit.

As a side note on that challenge, it does fly to around 60,000m under its own power.

I am going to keep trying until it gets there, i want to land on the mun with this thing.

What I like the most about this craft is how you can walk around inside of it x-D

I'd like to suggest something - ditch the little brown SAS modules, they are almost useless now. Just put the 2.5 modules, save part count.

Yeah that was the whole idea behind the design to be honest lol, started off wanting to carry a science lab on a rover then it just kept going from there.

Hmm i can try it out, always assumed these were the best, seem to give the most torque which is what i am after from them, basically you can torque this thing around on its axis, Going to try it out now on my small VTOL for proof of concept, why not, cheers man.

But then i always get confused what is and is not stock on my part list too lol, try to keep the things i make on here completely stock so everyone can try them.
