I just want to ask a quick thing,I Have a mac. and I need a windows emulator to make it run,Ive tried parellels But that doesnt work since I cant make it boot up with out a file for it. so,im eliminating that option. EDIT:Im not trying to use wine for mac,for a program, just a virtual machine. Edited September 11, 2014 by Guest
sal_vager
Can you be clearer about what you want to do?If you want to run Windows 8.1 you'll need a virtual machine, if you just want to run a Windows program you could try Wine for Mac. Climberfx
Windows Virtual Machine inside OS X, Parallel and VM (Virtual Machine)Boot Windows on a Mac, Bootcamp, that came with OS X. It's not compatible with Windows 8, officially, but they have tutors on how to do it on the internet, just google it. BootCamp is inside the Utilities sub folder of Applications.Wine i just have it installed to run some little .EXE stuff. But i don't like it. Is not a full support of windows.I particularly prefer the BootCamp options, that way i can have a full speed OS X, or Windows. In Boot. No emulation, because Mac is intel and run Windows seamlessly. But when i had Windows here in dual boot, i use Windows 7 (and one time i test Windows 8, but still preferred the 7, for games.)Cheers.
