I'm a little disappointed that this wasn't posted on the blog, but it looks good. It shows all the new canon characters. Anyone else think that the fact that the PR guy is wearing a HAZMAT suit is a bad message to the public? :)

But The HypeTrain posted the link in the thread first. :P

That HAZMAT suit isn't going to help displace the insane destructible buildings secret update ravings. I like his given-up-trying stubble, though.

edit: And why is the lead accountant dressed up like a butler?

The forum/social posts were all scheduled for tomorrow. *Grumbles* ;.; Well, enjoy, though!

A hazmat suit? Is the secret feature... radioactive fallout?

No, it's just a neat visual. The costume, not the fallout...and no fallout, either.

Unlucky. Maybe you've got to be quicker?

Mortimer. A shout out to SimCity? Awesome.

Though the all use the generic kerbal face. It would be more interesting if they were more varied, like how Gene has no hair, and Wernher has a moustache.

call me crazy but i wonder if the facial characteristics of the first two characters (stubble, wrinkles) may be a harbinger of custom kerbal creation

look at mortimer again good sir. he is quite well aged

edit: and the PR guy has stubble. i guess its hard to shave inside a hazmat suit.

edit 2: I posted this before reading the second page. I have been ninja'd by multiple people, and by over an hour *facepalm*

On closer inspection, seems you guys are right, though the differences are subtle. Still, giving them more distinct hair would be a plus. Then again, maybe that's something to be implemented later.

It's a pity they haven't completed the female Kerbal design yet, could have been an opportunity to have an important female character. Squad may have missed a trick here, unless there will be more in game charters added later.

IDK, we've had kerbalizer, and different Kerbals in video and non playable roles for a while now. I think it's meant to happen one day thought.

Oh, great, now I've gotta write character stories for them. I'll be back...

Or for others, it is possible retcons are in order where kerbals with different names have played the same roles. Perhaps it would be best to wait to see if they appear in an up coming video, so we get some proper insight into their characters.

Protection against flamewars? Community-Manager-Joke-Reference?

Heh not really. They just don't want Walt to get exposed to radiation running around like a chicken without a head as a PR person would in this case. Could you imagine how stressful it is as a KSC publicist? With all the failures?

Failures? FAILURES? WHAT FAILURES?!
