Space Center Bugs: Can't move camera or enter buildings (64bit)

Recommended Posts

So whenever I load up my Realism Overhaul install of KSP (RSS, RSS Visual Enhancements, PlanetFactory, Realism Overhaul and all required mods) and start/enter a save, everything is working normally, but I can't click on/roll over any buildings in the space center nor can I move the camera.

Help?

I'm really getting frustrated with 64bit being broken as I want to use a high amount of mods at full res with no lag... :(

I checked the logs and all it says is NoReferenceException.. I didn't get this problem until a few days ago.

Hi!

I had the same issue today with the camera freezed in a strange position. (Win64, etc)

I could enter in the Vehicle Assembly Building and launch rover. From the launch pad, i used the escape key to come back to the space center.

The point of view on the Space Center was the default one and the camera was free to move again.

I hope it can help.

I'd like to point out that this is *not* a 64bit only bug, it's definitely caused quite frequently by DMP's start.

It's quite an annoying one as in my case, KSP does not throw any exception - It only throws after you leave the space center screen, and that particular throw isn't helpful. It's not a throw in GameEvents.OnGameSceneLoadRequested as that bug only prevents scene changes and entering of buildings, but does not lock the camera.

The camera looks like this: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=330730377

I'll try to poke this one more - It's one of my biggest bugs.

EDIT: I've obviously failed to read - Follow NathanKell's advice and upload your KSP_Folder/KSP_Data/output_log.txt (on windows) file.

EDIT 2: Input locks during a game start were the source of DMP's problems.
