Bite-Size Tutorials "5-Tips" Series Update:

I've Close-Captioned several of the videos. For quality reasons I'm going back over a few of them, some of the captions get cut-off on mobile. It's an ongoing project to make sure all the tutorials are captioned so you can watch them mute if you hate my voice, or if you're hiding your phone under your desk.

The next episode(s) are being recorded and I expect to have "5 Tips Training for Moon Missions" done by the weekend.

Thanks everyone, for watching and subscribing O_o 601 subscribers this morning o_O you're all amazing.

Keep at it Kerbalnauts!

I always use MechJeb with my craft. That's a good tip: if any of you make a lot of rockets and don't have much time to fly crafts yourself, try MJ! I feel the hate for it has come and gone, which is good as it's a personal choice. I find it a logical choice to use it just for the time it saves. It also allows for a consistent flight profile of with you can test your craft.

That being said, if I were doing an actual playthrough as opposed to craft designing and testing, I would probably fly without MJ.

Your tips you gave were very good! Have some rep :)

Thank you very much GusTurbo, Not to brag but I managed to take over 6 hours making 5 Tips with Time warp (splice down to less than 3min...)

Totally agree with ya Woopert, MechJeb existing is a necessary evil, and what one does with their Kerbals, is between them and their Kerbals ;D

and Pecan,

Your tips for building and flying SSTOs appear to be about spaceplanes, not SSTOs in general.

Yeah, I'm with ya. It was kinda a part 2 to my previous building SSTO's video (all planes). I've been trying to think of a SSTO rocket video, or some such. It would have worked PERFECT in my landers episode, but I didn't think of it. My angle on it was that most players needed more help flying planes to orbit in a single stage, I did get some flack for only doing planes on both videos, so guess that was a bad call. :D but seriously thanks for watching!

I don't usually watch videos because of broadband cap but these are good and well edited-down to make the points they need to. Nothing wrong with concentrating on spaceplanes, they certainly are a lot harder, but call them spaceplanes ^^. Only suggestion I have for a SSTO-rocket video is the whole 'landing a rocket after orbit' thing, re: SpaceX. (I'd say have a look at Chapter 7, Section 4 and Mission 35 in my 'Exploring' tutorial, but you probably have your own vehicle designs.)
