Large aerobreaking shield

I woudl like some large heatshield, for interplanetary vessels aerobreaking maneuvers.

Something like shield of ship that was used in defying gravity tv series:

Ideally, such shield woudl be multi-use, using some coolant (and electric power) sprayed on its surface instead of ablation.

So... deadly reentry? It has been suggested to death and back, and the devs already want to implement it some day. For the meantime, you can get a mod called "Deadly Reentry", which comes with heatshields and will burn your spacecraft up if you don't know how to properly enter the atmosphere.

Ah well, then you can get "Procedural Parts", which has a procedural heatshield. You can tweak its size to whatever you want!

btw, I already reported the post so a Mod can come over and move it to Add-on requests.

AFAIK DRE has an inflatable 6.3m heatshield that works in a very similar way to the one you describe.
