I have tried every combination of struts, rad attachment points, docking ports, etc that I can think of, but still no luck. Is there some trick to this? I am trying to build a small surface station with a central vertical tower, and horizontal fuselage "walkways" out to smaller vertical towers. I have done this using separate launches and a rover to position the parts as seen on the "Modular Base Design" thread, but there must be some way to get this done in the VAB, right?
