Minmus literary reference + 0.25 noob-ish question

Hi,

Hot on the heels of the announcement of this year's Nobel Prize winner in literature (no, haven't heard about him) I thought of something that struck me the first time I launched KSP. Has anybody made the connection between Kerbal-space and the Haruki Murakami (a recurring Nobel favorite) novel 1Q84? In the book, the protagonist finds herself in a slightly skewed parallell world that she calls 1Q84 (instead of 1984 - the year the story takes place). One of the things that makes her realize this isn't 1984 in Japan is that there is a second moon in the sky. It's small and pale green. Perhaps it was the inspiration for Minmus?

Anyway - a real question:

I'm in the middle of a very interesting career game in 0.24. If I update to 0.25, will that break my game?

Best,

Tage Widsell

A real answer: your crafts using aero parts will be messed/broken/unusable.

No other reason why a 0.24.2 savegame would not work, however the additional features in 0.25 (mainly, strategies) may not be as well balanced as were tested on a new game.

While I'm not saying definitively one way or the other, it is best to simply start over. If you want to take the chance be my guest (though you will probably have to rebuild some, if not all, of your crafts)

Sorry I don't have an answer to your real question. Waiting for this weekend to start 0.25. But I did some Goggling and that book you mentioned sounds really good. I'm going to have to get a copy.
