Pretty sure the currency name of Funds will stick, but we can still give suggestions to what the coinage for funds would look like. My suggestion would be for coins styled in the fashion of nuts and bolts.

I'd never expect them to replace the funds currency, but in maybe at some point the game can detect that you cant do anything (super hard mode) and then they could show an image of a kerbal giving coins to another kerbal. Its an example for what it could be used for. I deeply doubt anything would replace funds in the near future
