Is there a mod that allows you to mute or adjust volume "in-game"?

Hey Guys,

Sometimes when I'm playing KSP, I like to be able to mute the sound, so that I can hear something else that is happening on my computer. The problem is, you have to back out of the game to adjust the sound volume. Is there a mod that allows you to control the sound in-game?

If not, would someone be interested in creating one?

No, you don't. Just press the escape key in-flight to get to the pause menu. Then press settings, then change the volumes from there.

That's true, but there are five different audio bars, some of which I have set to different levels. It would be enough if they had an "all" bar at the end, but they don't.

It would be so much nicer to be able to hit one key to toggle the sound. It seems to me that something like that could be accomplished with several lines of code. I'd do it, but I know nothing about coding.

Nothing in game that I know of but there are some other options. You can ALT-TAB out to your desktop and mute the sound there. If you have a keyboard with sound controls you can use that. If you're on a laptop they usually have sound functions on the keyboard.

To clarify, I don't want to mute the sound on the entire computer, just KSP specifically, because, very often, I might be watching a video or listening to a podcast while I'm playing. And sometimes, particularly during a launch or a burn, the audio on KSP overpowers everything else.

You can change just KSP sound using volume mixer (assuming you are on windows.)

Just right click on the speaker on the windows bar and it is the volume mixer. You can change the overall volume of just KSP while keeping every thing else the same.
