  1. That's exactly what this mod does. Although you can only move it along the bottom edge of the screen. Check out the youtube video on the first page.
  2. Anything but the current confetti. I'd also like to see a proper round top.
  3. I would assume it's an installation error or a corrupt file. Delete the KerbalEngineer folder from your GameData folder. Redownload it and reinstall.
  4. Should be. The only changes for 1.0.2 were a tweak to the Mk16 parachutes drag and a cooling issue when splashed down. Nothing that KER would seem to apply to. Only 1 way to find out though. Fire it up!
  5. Yes. I thought it would be a silly gimmick but after trying it I like it.
  6. Plenty of people dislike it but plenty love it too. What the ratio is nobody truly knows.
  7. Well done! Wikipedia says 0.27 m/s² or 2.8% of earth's.
  8. Squad has said they're working on multiplayer and they'll add it later. This isn't the final release.
  9. Seems to be working now. Thanks!
  10. I was able to recreate the bug a second time. Here's a step-by-step guide. -Completely stock version 1.0 on Windows 8.1 -Start a new career with the default medium difficulty settings. I chose the NASA flag. I don't know if that matters. -Go to Mission Control and choose Launch Our First Vehicle and Escape the Atmosphere as the active missions -Go to the VAB and make a 3 part vessel as mentioned in the previous post. Don't adjust the staging. Keep the parachute on stage 1. -Go to the launch pad and click Z to set full power, click T to enable SAS, click SPACE to launch the vessel. Do nothing and let it land by itself. -Recover the vessel -Go to Mission Control and now the Gather Scientific Data mission has disappeared.
  11. Sounds good. Keep up the good work guys!
  12. Try the latest version. It works for me. In career mode it always works in the VAB even if you don't have the KER parts on your vessel, but once you launch you need either an engineer on board or one of the KER parts onboard. If not, the icon is greyed out and you'll get no info. You have to unlock the parts first. They're in the very first tech node. It also works everywhere once you reach a level 3 tracking station. In sandbox mode all buildings are automatically level 3 so it works no matter what.
  13. I've got the same problem. It stopped working for me yesterday (April 27th).
  14. I'm not sure which subforum to put this in so I put it here. Feel free to move it if necessary. As of yesterday I'm not receiving any email notifications to subscribed threads. I've checked to see if they're going into my junk mail folder and they aren't. I've also gone through my forum settings and everything is set to instant email notification. I've also checked that my email address is the right one, it is. I've sent myself a PM and I receive it here but there's no email notification. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  15. My craft was: -Mk16 Parachute -command pod Mk1 -RT-5 Flea SRB I forgot to change the staging so the parachute went off on launch along with the flea SRB. It went up about 300m, did a few flips and then landed when it ran out of fuel. I didn't touch anything except the fast forward and slow down buttons when it was coming down. Then I recovered the vessel.
  16. I just started a new career in 1.0. I was only allowed 2 active missions so I chose 1. Launch your first vehicle, and 2. Escape the Atmosphere. That left Orbit Kerbin and Gather Scientific Data as available missions for later. I did the first launch. After the launch I went back to Mission Control and the only mission in the available list was Orbit Kerbin. The Gather Scientific Data mission was completely gone. It wasn't in the available, active, or complete tabs in mission control. It's nowhere to be found.
  17. The biggest thing I learned was that I truly knew nothing about orbital mechanics. I thought I did but I really didn't. There are no straight lines in space travel.
