Easy way of finding crafts from the Tracking Station?

I have 32 crafts currently on a planet or a moon or in orbit around something. Finding the one i want from the tracking station list is a pain in the butt.

I'd love to see an option made where it separates the crafts on the list by the planet they are on/around.

For example say you have 3-4 crafts all around Jool and its moons, all of them would get put in the Jool area, any crafts landed or around kerbin and mun and minimus would end up under kerbin.

It doesnt need to be on tabs, just a nice order with the planet's name separating the list.

Just tab between each planet and moon and mouse over everything nearby until you find the one you want.

Spend the time and rename them: Mun 1, Mun 2, Minnus Probe 1/2/3, etc.?

Save time and name them that way in the first place.

Squad have stated that they will be working on the organisation of the parts menus in the ship editors, it could be a knock-on-effect that organisation of flights-in-progress could be included with that (so we can set it to display in the way we want, as opposed to the current like-it-or-leave-it type thing that works, but as you say, would be useful if tweaked in future )

For now, rename the ships like the other posters said above and tab between planets. Squad's working on organization of the tracking station menu.
