I think we need an in game balance sheet, something where we could see how much was spent on a launch, how much we recovered, and deposits for contracts to help dope out what was profitable and how profitable it was. Of course we can jot down the figures as we go, but in game would be better.

Could be useful. So, costs in one corner, and earrings in the other? It could get complex, but as long as things are sensibly broken down into appropriate categories, it could be good. It would make the game feel more like you're actually managing a space program.

It'd be useful on a launch-by-launch basis, but I'd really love the ability to see graphs and things tracking financial progress over time. Looking back and seeing the huge dip in the graph where that one rocket blew up on launch and took out the VAB could be quite fun...

I like the idea though, the more stuff that can be done in game without a spreadsheet the better. Maybe all of the big three financial statements could be implemented.

Call it "Financials" - I wonder if a mod could do this? On the other hand, I'd really like to see it in game, maybe as part of the Admin Building?
