Losing contracts when the game closes.

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

This is my first post, so I am sure that I will have information missing.

I am currently running .25, but I have had this problem for awhile now; whenever I close KSP I lose all of my current and past contracts. At first this was a minor nuisance but as I advance in career mode it becomes a very frustrating challenge.

I do run it on Windows 32, and I have more mods than I probably should, but the problem persists even after I have uninstalled the mods. It did not start until after I modded the game.

Let me know what information you need and I will help the best I can.

Here is some more information, I should have read the instructions first, sorry.

KSP: 0.25 Windows 32bit

Problem: I lose all my current active and past completed/cancelled contracted every time I close KSP

Mods installed:

Probably too many

Fine print

mission controll

and many moore

Reproduction steps:

Close the program every single time.

Log:

?????????? what do you need here?

FYI:

I am fairly new to KSP. In fact this is the first game I have bought since I bought AoE II in the 20th century. I got Steam just to play KSP because I loved the demo so much (found a KSP post on imgur late one night, and was hooked there after). This is the first game I have ever owned that can be modded, so I am sure I messed it up some where. I have tried to do self help from the forum, but I am giving up, I need help from some one that knows what they are doing.

I have sending in a Monk or two, but they were unable to heal fast enough. I have uninstalled every mod, and that did not fix it. I was running it on Windows 64 before I knew that it would crash because it was running on 64.

Monk! I need a monk!

Thanks for trying to follow the How to Get Support sticky! :) Also, welcome to the forums!

We will need a full list of your mods including versions.

The output log should always be present here:

KSP_win\KSP_Data\output_log.txt (32bit) or KSP_win64\KSP_x64_Data\output_log.txt (64bit)

You can upload it to a site like Dropbox or Google Drive and link to it here.

Output_log file would tell us pretty much what is going on. usually if contracts are going away then that means that their is a bad contract or Parameter for contracts somewhere that is causing issues.

Output_log.txt file is located in the KSP_DATA folder.
