Re-entry effects when going to Launch pad

No biggy, just wondering anyone experienced this.

Sometimes, when I go from the VAB to the Launchpad to launch a rocket, I can briefly see re-entry effects around the parts. Anyone seen this or knows what causes it?

I see it as well, and was also wondering why. Although, I don't see it at launch, only when I revert to launch.

I have it too. It happens when I click 'Launch' from an editor. It normally lasts about 1 second for me.

It's due to how KSP positions items; apparently it gives them a *giant* kick from the world origin to the launch position, so you briefly see incredible G forces and high speed before it's all canceled.

So, it's possible to extend solar panels in VAB and loose them on spawning? Gotta try that.

i never damaged panels or somthing i think physics kiks in after that positioning

OnFixedUpdate won't run, so they won't be damaged, AIUI.
