I need help with making modded modles

Alright, this is in the wrong section but here's how I started: A good starter modeling program (that is free) would for me atleast, be Wings3D. Its not as well known as something like Blender or 3DMax, but its a lot easier to use. There are plenty of tutorials online for wings3d to help, and if you can't figure it out, feel free to message me.
