Launchpad Collision while in space.

Issue: Collision into launchpad while on space.

Reproduction: I'm not sure what is causing it, it first happened when I left time warp, then when I quicksaved back to before the incident. The craft is small probe using P-Parts, Real fuels and tweak scale, the tanks were moderately clipped into each other.

I think we can safely attribute this to a stock bug that appears to be worse with 0.25: #3414, #3326. I believe someone else had it occur while in high Kerbin orbit.

Unfortunately, no known solution except reverting the save.

What's weird is it also happens when I revert to the quick save, but if I quit the game and then go back to the quick save, it works.

This may well be a helpful log to add to one of those bugs. The problems seem to start after a number of unplanned disassemblies followed by reverting to launch. This appears a couple of times:

dT is NaN! tA: NaN, E: NaN, M: NaN, T: NaN

...and then the next time the Voyager craft is unpacked KAS complains:

[KAS] Warning ! ActiveVessel is landed and heightFromTerrain are negative (-1)

...which seems very suspicious as the craft is not landed. There is then a structural failure (which KAS claims was caused by a huge force):

[KAS] OnJointBreak(Core) A joint broken on PB-NUK Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator !, force: 1.074396E+09

[00:45:24]: Structural failure on linkage between PB-NUK Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator and Procedural Real Fuels Tank.

...which appears to happen twice (are there two of them on the craft) followed by:

proceduralTankRealFuels collided into Fuel Tank - relative velocity: 296.8178 - no impact momentum (no RB)

proceduralTankRealFuels Exploded!! - blast awesomeness: 0.5

[proceduralTankRealFuels]: Deactivated

[00:45:24]: Procedural Real Fuels Tank collided into Launch Pad.

After the smoke clears it appears the game was quickloaded and, as soon as the Voyager craft is unpacked, KAS immediately started complaining about this again (many times):

[KAS] Warning ! ActiveVessel is landed and heightFromTerrain are negative (-1)

...followed by the PB-NUK breaking off again (again twice) and then:

proceduralTankRealFuels collided into Water Pipe - relative velocity: 25.96019 - no impact momentum (no RB)

proceduralTankRealFuels Exploded!! - blast awesomeness: 0.5

[proceduralTankRealFuels]: Deactivated

[01:00:51]: Procedural Real Fuels Tank collided into Launch Pad.

...which is hitting the water pipe bit of the launch pad rather than the fuel tank. A lot more parts hit parts of the launch pad this second time (water pipe and oxygen pipe).

This KAS warning about being landed might give the devs some insight into what is going on...
