Is this normal?

Recommended Posts

My ksp is... slighty modded. I mean, it does have near, deadly reentry, procedural fearings, some enviromental mods like planet shine, chatter.. No mods that would change the jet engine. And this craft is all stock, its a simple jet with f-22 alike wings and two jet engines as seen in the photo. Strange thing is that i tried to cut the throttle, then i noticed this. Then, i tried to move it to 50%, then 100%, it didnt changed.

I should have been clearer, can I see the back of the plane? I noticed the wheel in the first image might be clipping and I'm wondering if this lack of thrust is due to it considering them blocking the thrust output. I'm having trouble seeing it because the image is so dark.

Well, this is strange and none of my own jets do that.

However, 0.3 kN is 300 N. You have 2 engines, so that is 600 N of reverse thrust. That's 60 Kg. Not enough to lift a kerbal.

From the engineering point of view it will not do anything, so you can just go on and ignore it.

The negative number is probably just a floating point/average issue. The bigger issue is that he is at half throttle with plenty of air and fuel and has no thrust.

Have you tried turning it on and off again? xD I would recommend seeing if you get the same issues with a different craft with the SAME jets. If that craft has the same issues, than I would go about uninstalling mods and testing after an uninstall of each mod. If having no mods still does not fix it, I would recommend reinstalling KSP entirely.

Hope this helps,
