With Wired For Kraken on hold while I sort out technical issues, I started a new series involving the Kerbin Shuttle Orbiter System and a mod I'm working on called the Multipurpose Colony Modules. This series is a bunch of imgur albums that I've canned and annotated. I finally have the time to compile them all into one thread.

MKS/OKS

Infernal Robotics

Universal Storage (+core, KAS, TAC)

DMagic Orbital Science

Multipurpose Colony Modules (see my sig)

This is pretty cool. I also really like the fact that Freedom looks like the Buran when it's running with all four boosters.

Glad you like it. :) The quad booster arrangement was an idea by Avalon304 that I adopted for improved lifting capacity. I definitely intend to continue with the missions, though I have to build some more parts before continuing the story. I'm working on an inflatable warehouse, for instance.

This is great. Good work, and may all your future missions be successful :)

Thanks! Glad you are enjoying the story. Speaking of which...

KSOS-22 flies! Things are busy at KSC, many missions are going on at once. Can the space center keep up with the demand?

that's a lot of shuttle launches... i should do that with mine :D

It's definitely a lot of fun. I get to tell a story, fly the shuttle, and show off the Multipurpose Colony Modules mod I'm working on.

Speaking of shuttle flights, KSOS Mission 23 has successfully completed!

Freedom delivers another Outpost-class commercial space station into orbit for a contractor, and Bill, Bob, and Jeb become the first kerbals to orbit Minmus.

Dropping by to say I really like reading the chronicles, it's well written and paced. I hope you can keep this going. :)

Thanks! Glad you like the story. :) Sometimes I get lots of time to play and continue the story, other times it slows down due to work or updating my mod. Speaking of updates, the Dragonfly has reached Duna. It's a nailbiter as it makes the first attempt to reach the Rusty Planet...

WOW, I'm absolutely love your epic space saga! Your doing an awesome storyline I look forward to your future adventures! :D

Glad you're enjoying the series. :) It's slowed down for a bit due to working extra hours and updating my Multipurpose Colony Modules mod for 0.9.0, but once that's done I'll be continuing the shuttle missions.

KSOS-28 has flown! Freedom delivers another Outpost Commercial Space Module into orbit, while Munbase Alpha builds the remaining infrastructure it needs- and tries out a couple of Munbus landers..

That's it for a bit, I have more work to do on Multipurpose Colony Modules before I can fly more missions.

Happy New Year. :)

With the latest artwork for Multipurpose Colony Modules pretty much done and the bugs almost fixed, I had time to capture more images. This is KSOS-Interlude 6: Good & Bad. Dragonfly continues its mission, and so does Ranger One. not everything goes as planned...
