impossible to filter the craft mid-flight

Recommended Posts

Hi!

Like the tittle say, I can't really filter the craft when I'm flying(but I can when I am in space for some reason), even when I'm on the runway and not moving, the game doesn't let me do that: despite my clicking, nothing happen.

Is it normal?

(I use kerbinside and I planted a flag on every landing site so it would be usefull for me when I want to travel from one landing site to another with a plane).

I mean that I can't click on the button above the screen.

Those who allow you to render certain craft's icon invisible(like, making all bases icon on the map view invisible, or all the asteroids, or all the rovers...)

is it clear?

(because english is not my first language so I don't know how to put it right :/)

Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't sure whether you meant that or you were looking for a mod like Haystack.

It does work for me, though I'm almost always using an external mouse.

  • What kind of mouse are you using?
  • What settings do you have for it?
  • Can you use the filter function in a stock install or in KSP 0.24?

1) the default "mouse" on a macbook pro(it look like a build-in trackpad but it is clickable)

2)uuh.... I have no idea, the default one.

3) no (I don't know if I have to be glad that I won't have to delete any mod or if I have to be worried because it will be harder to fix)

(Thank you for helping me :))

I've double-checked with my trackpad, which works perfectly.

Let's try a few system settings: Go to  > System Preferences > Trackpad. Enable "Tap to click" and "Secondary click."

Then launch KSP, and without switching out of the KSP window (go make some tea/coffee?), try each of these:

  • Tap on the filters with one finger
  • Tap on the filters with two fingers
  • Click with one finger
  • Click with two fingers
  • Control+click with one finger

Another option: move your KSP/settings.cfg out of the folder, then start KSP.

If none of these work, try uploading your Player.log: Mac OS X: Open Console, on the left side of the window there is a menu that says 'files'. Scroll down the list and find the Unity drop down, under Unity there will be Player.log ( Files>~/Library/Logs>Unity>Player.log )

ok, weird...

If I go in map view and swipe three finger to the "up" of the trackpad and then change the application with that swiping(do you know what I'm talking about?) I can do it.

However, after I quitted map view, I have to redo it..

Well, I have found the work-around until it get fixed somehow!

Thank you very much for the help!
