Side-mounted LES

Is there anyone who could make Launch Escape System that could be attached to a side of a part, instead on top of it? It would be very helpful for many Kerbals in case of decoupler-less SSTO planes (SSTO's based on B9 S3 and HL fuselages).

Please, would any of you moding magicans try to make it?

They're already in the game... They're called Sepratrons.

I don't understand how you'd want to use a LES without a decoupler, though. The whole principle of the tower is to drag away the capsule.

Also maybe you would use individual chutes of Vanguard mod instead.

Pressing Backspace throws all Kerbals from the craft, pressing Space+F opens their chutes.
