Next Gen Jebediah. (WIP) (Now slightly less creepy)

I took this up as a little side project between work. A somewhat more realistic version of Jeb. Hopefully I'll be taking this all the way to a game-ready model.

The space-suit is mostly inspired by the Gemini suits (Which I believe the original Kerbal suits are also based on).

Its still WIP so stuff is missing.

No lips, and one eye must be bigger than the other (The Right Eye is bigger!). Also, Kerbal finger-tips are kinda flattened at the end, and I actually like the mittens better.

Additionally, while I do like the Gemeni-style space suit on this model, THe Stock space suits are more based upon the ISS/Shuttle space suits.

And Kerbals smell through their mouth.

I came to the conclusion of the Gemini suits based on the straps around the Kerbal suits, and the metal rings around the gloves/base of the helmet, evidently I want quite right :sticktongue:

I never saw mittens as being a good idea in space due to the lost dexterity (then again, chunky cloves arent exactly known for allowing nimble finger movements either), and I personally prefer gloves. I'll likely chunkify the fingers more though to allow room for the flat-endedness, and to make them look more padded.

As for the face, I'm taking that advice on board and seeing how it turns out.

I agree.

Anyway, so when can we expect a mod for this? I want bigger, better, faster, stronger Kerbals.

I can get as far as having this as a game-ready model and rigging it appropriately, but I do not animate well at all, nor would I know how to replace the in-game kerbals. Maybe if someone else took it from a rigged model, they can have a go at getting it in-game.
